PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote execution efficiency by facilitating the mounting of rebranched walls in a Y-shaped sound-proof wall and to make it possible to reduce the total weight of the sound-proof wall. SOLUTION: Struts monolithically formed into a Y-shaped and mounted to important points on the upper ends of branch sections by laying supporting members on them are erected along both sides of a freeway at certain intervals, frame attached transparent plates 8 are mounted on the lower part between the struts and, at the same time, sound absorbing plates 3 toward a road side and an external facing plate 14 toward a private land side are respectively mounted on the upper part thereof to form a main body wall. The sound absorbing panels 3 are mounted between the branch sections on the road side of the struts 1 to form a first branched wall on the main body wall, and the external facing plate 14 is mounted between the branch sections on the private land side to form a second branched wall thereon. Wall panels having approximately a V-shaped cross section are respectively made to fall in and are held by the supporting member 2 to form first and second rebranched walls on the upper end sections on the insides of the first and second branched walls.
