PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize an electric connection by stabilizing a contact of a contact part to male terminal hardware and preventing an increase in contact resistance of the contact part to the male terminal hardware. SOLUTION: This hardware is constituted by forming an elastic contact piece 5 constituted of a bending part 6 formed by being folded back and bent to the inside of a terminal hardware body 3 in a part extending a bottom plate 4 from an end of an insertion port 2, a flat part 7 extended backward within the terminal hardware body 3 from the bending part 6 and an elastic supporting part 8 rotating and bending a tip of the flat part 7 to the bottom plate 4 side and abutting the tip on the bottom plate 4, within the terminal hardware body 3. The elastic contact piece 5 is divided into a plurality of pieces along an inserting direction of male terminal hardware. On flat parts 7A, 7B of the elastic contact pieces 5A, 5C located at least both ends of the elastic contact piece 5 divided into the plurality of pieces, contact parts 12A, 12B are formed over positions lower than positions where a tip of the male terminal hardware abuts on the flat parts 7A, 7B of the elastic contact pieces 5A, 5B when the male terminal hardware is inserted from top parts of the flat parts 7A, 7B.
