PURPOSE: A method for notifying a calling time in a mobile communication system is provided to receive a substantial calling time relating to a mobile subscriber from a mobile communication exchange, and to inform the mobile subscriber of the substantial calling time in real time. Therefore, the mobile subscriber can exactly recognize the calling time and charging information. CONSTITUTION: If a call processing request is received from a mobile communication terminal, a call processor retrieves information on an originating subscriber of the mobile communication terminal, and decides whether a calling time notifying service is registered. If the originating subscriber is not registered in the calling time notifying service, the call processor performs a call processing corresponding to the call processing request, and sets up a speech path. If the originating subscriber is registered in the service, the call processor reads a first notifying time and an additional notice time period relating to a notified calling time from the originating subscriber information, and sets up a calling time notifying function. The call processor performs a call processing to the call-processing request to set up the speech path, and counts the calling time according to a call setup. If the first notifying time comes, the call processor transmits a first calling time alarm for notifying the counted calling time to the originating subscriber through the speech path. The call processor transmits an additional alarm for notifying the entire counted calling time to the originating subscriber, every additional notifying time period, after transmitting the first calling time alarm. |
