PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a difference in wiping range caused by a difference in the inertial force of a wiper blade between low-speed mode and high-speed mode. SOLUTION: A double-worm type wiper motor 2 having a pair of worms with opposite advance angles and two worm wheels meshing with the worms is rotated in a normal direction in a low-speed mode and is rotated in a reverse direction in a high-speed mode so as to actuate wiper links. Also, a motor arm 3 and a link connecting rod 4 of the wiper links are interconnected via an eccentric metal mechanism 10 an the eccentric metal of the eccentric metal mechanism 10 is held in a position such that the substantial length of the motor arm 3 is increased during normal rotation at low speed and is shorter during reverse rotation at high speed than during normal rotation.
