PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric carrier with a structure which can be handled by an ordinary worker even when a mechanical or electric trouble occurs. SOLUTION: A raised bottom portion 17 is formed on a floor 18 of a box 11 shown upside down in the figure is, and into the raised bottom portion 17 a driving package 50 is fit and fixed with screws 51 to construct an electric carrier. The driving package 50 is a package integrating an electric motor 53, right and left drive wheels 15, and transmission parts for them 53 to 15 in a sheet metal case 52. When trouble occurs in the driving package 50, a worker replaces only the driving package 50, returns the electric carrier to collection and delivery work and sends the defective driving package to repair. Even a worker with scarce mechanical and electrical knowledge can therefore use the electric carrier sufficiently and effectively.
