The invention relates to a method for the production of wiper system components such as wiper arms, levers or blades. The blanks of said components (1, 9, 29) are separated in the form of plates in a transverse position with respect to the direction in which extruded materials are extruded; soft bending articulated areas (4, 5) are produced by free stamping (22, 23, 24). Stiffer intermediate areas (25, 26) are produced by creating beading around the edge areas of sections of the components (1, 9, 29). In multipart systems (21), connecting elements (15) are inserted into the joints (10, 11) of several components (12, 13, 14) which are produced by means of extraction.
