PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the time required to inject a liquid crystal into a cell. SOLUTION: First and second intermediate ports 7, 8 are formed between an injection port 5 and a ventilation port 6 of a cell 1, and these intermediate ports 7, 8 are connected to common connectors 31, 32, respectively. An electromagnetic switching valve 35 (connection selecting means) works to connect the common connector 31 to a vacuum pump 11 (vacuum sucking means) before the liquid crystal reaches the intermediate port 7, and to connect the common connector 31 to a pressure tank 21 (liquid crystal supply means), after the liquid crystal reaches the intermediate port 7. An electromagnetic switching valve 36 is made to connect the common connector 32 to the vacuum pump 11, before the liquid crystal reaches the intermediate port 8 and is made to connect the common connector 32 to the pressure tank 21, after the liquid crystal reaches the intermediate port 8.
