PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To check safety of the lateral rear part by taking a lateral rear side view captured in an image capturing part arranged on the side face of an automobile into an optical transmission line/tube such as an optical cable and reproducing the image on a dashboard. SOLUTION: Each of an outside mirror and a rearview mirror are divided into an image capturing part 1, an optical transmission line/pipe 2 such as an optical cable, and an image reproducing part 3, while the image capturing parts 1 are arranged on the side face and the rear part of an automobile, and a captured view image is transmitted from the capturing part 1 to the image reproducing part 3 via the optical transmission line/pipe line 2 such as an optical cable, and consequently, a degree of freedom of an installation place for the image reproducing part 3 can be secured. The image reproducing part 3 is constructed of a concave lens and the like equivalent to the image capturing part 1 for setting a view image outputted from the optical transmission line/pipe 2 such as an optical cable to a required magnification and a concave mirror for matching the image with a field of view of a driver.
