PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the damage to a retainer while preventing an increase in torque loss by using a spacer having each element engaged with at least one of an inner ring raceway track and an outer ring raceway track in such a manner as to be displaceable over circumferential direction and non- displaceable over the diameter direction of a power roller and an outer ring. SOLUTION: This spacer 36 is formed of mutually independent elements 31, 37 of the same number as balls 30, 30, which are made of a material easy to slid such as synthetic resin, oil-retaining metal or the like. In the spacer 36, such elements 37, 37 are arranged between the circumferential adjacent balls 30, 30 one by one. In this state, each element 37, 37 is engaged with inner ring raceway tracks 27, 27 and outer ring raceway tracks 29, 29 constituting each thrust ball bearing 26, 26 in such a manner as to be displaceable over the circumferential direction along each raceway track 27, 29 and non- displaceable over the diameter direction of each power roller 8 and outer rings 28, 28.
