PURPOSE: To provide an EL(electroluminescence) display device which is capable of well assigning intensity levels since the display device has first TFTs(thin-film transistors) having high-speed writing and holding characteristics and second TFTs having good current controllability. CONSTITUTION: This organic EL display device has the first TFTs 31 for switching, the second TFTs for driving organic EL elements, anodes 61, cathodes and light emitting element layers held between both electrodes. The first TFTs 30 have n type channels and have an LDD(lightly doped drain) structure. The second TFTs are the structure having p type channels and, therefore, on current may be made high and leak current small and the good assigning of intensity levels is made possible. |
