The drop forging machine has a press ram divided into a driven outer ram for an outer tool, and a driven inner ram for an inner tool. The outer ram has an eccentric drive (4), and the inner ram (11) has a toggle lever drive (13), so that the eccentric shaft (3) loads the whole ram or only the outer ram. The toggle lever drive acts on the inner tool (25) via pressure studs (26), which project into the stroke path of the inner ram.
