PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk clamping mechanism whose required space is small in a disk device so that a disk can be moved smoothly. SOLUTION: The disk clamping mechanism is such that a lift plate 2 is disposed in a disk device parallelly to a turntable and that the arrangement is in a movable manner in a direction approaching to and receding from the turntable while the parallelism is maintained. An elastic spring plate 3 is installed parallelly to the lift plate 2. A clamper 31 is provided in the spring plate 3. The lift plate 2 is provided with lugs 2c for pressing the spring plate 3 so that it is elastically deformed as the lift plate 2 moves and that the clamper 31 can move between a pressurized state in which the clamper 31 pressurizes the disk and a released state in which the clamper 31 releases the disk. In addition, provided integrally with the lift plate 2 is an upper guides 2d that guide the disk moving by a loading roller.
