2-benzyloxy-7-oxabicyclo[4.1.0]heptane derivatives represented by general formula (I), which have excellent herbicidal activity against weeds and excellent selectivity to crop plants; and a herbicide containing any of the derivatives as the active ingredient. In formula (I), R1 and R2 each is halogeno, alkyl, etc.; R3 is halogeno, alkyl, etc.; R4 is alkyl, etc.; R5 is alkyl, etc.; R6 is alkyl, etc.; R7 is acyl, an aromatic heterocyclic group, etc.; and p is an integer of 0 to 3. |
