A portion of the condensed liquid in a condenser (16) is diverted to a generator (32) where it supplies heat to boil off refrigerant from a refrigerant oil mixture and is thereby subcooled. The subcooled liquid is supplied to the motor (26) for cooling. The boiling off of refrigerant in the generator (32) results m an "oil rich" liquid which is supplied to the bearings, etc. for lubrication.
