The connection for a pipe (3) comprises a threaded junction piece (1) into which the pipe fits and a clamping nut (2) which fastens the two together. An elastomeric sealing ring (4) is positioned between the cone of the junction piece and the front of a collar (12) formed at the end of the pipe. The remainder of the cone forms a metallic seal with the pipe in front of the collar, while the nut forms a seal with the rear edge of the collar.
