PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer head (for a coating film transfer tool) capable of transferring a coating by a fixed load. SOLUTION: A transfer head for a coating film transfer tool stores a pay-out core 1 wound by a transfer tape (a) laminated with a coating film on its outer surface and a take-up core 2 taking up the transfer tape (a') wherein the coating film has been transferred, in a case 3, and provided with a transfer head making a transfer tape part between both cores 1, 2 project out of the case 3 and moving the transfer tape part while pressing on a transferred surface. A pressing portion piece 9 to the transfer tape is provided at a tip end of a main body portion piece 8 which can be elastically deformed and attached to the case 3 at a base portion. Guiding portion pieces 12, 12 facing each other through the transfer tape (a) are successively provided at a back end of the pressing portion piece 9. A slit 10 opening at a back end side is provided between the guiding portion piece 12 and the main body portion piece 8.
