PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate various kinds of sheets differed in property from thin paper to thick paper by use of the same device by spraying air to float the sheets. SOLUTION: This feeder comprises a sheet housing means 1 for housing sheets P, a sheet supplying means 2 for supplying the sheets P from the sheet housing means 1, and an air spraying means 4 having a nozzle 3 opened opposite to the end surface of the sheets P housed in the sheet housing means 1 to spray air through the nozzle 3. The air spraying means 4 is constituted so that the nozzle 3 having different opening forms 5, 6 is selectable or replaceable.
