PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stuff wastes efficiently and uniformly into a container. SOLUTION: In the case of stuffing wastes into a transportation container 1 with an introduction mouth 3 opened and closed by a slide gate 4, an end part of a conveyer tube 8 is connected to the introduction mouth 3, and a slide tube 9 slidably inserted into the conveyer tube 8 is projected into a waste container through the introduction mouth. A stuffing screw 7 is rotated and wastes thrown in a thrown-in hopper 11 are compressed into the conveyer tube 8 and the slide tube 9 and wastes that have been already compressed are stuffed into a container 2. The slide tube 9 is retreated as the container 1 is filled with wastes and the slide gate 4 is shut down simultaneously when its tip gets out from the introduction mouth 3.
