PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the absorption mechanism of collision energy from reducing caused by high initial peak in generating buckling and concentrating collapse of load distribution members in some part. SOLUTION: This energy absorption structure for a vehicle is so formed that an end girder 14 is arranged as a load distribution member in the head part of a collision structure member, the planar shape of the end girder 14 is set to an approximately bow shape or a parabola so as to increase the load distribution area, openings 19a, 19b are provided in its inside separated from the tip of the end girder so as to reduce the section, and connecting members 16c-16f of a skeleton material 16 are arranged so as to increase the members successively distributing the load relative to the collision load.
