PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of weather strip along a front pillar capable of absorbing or relaxing a shock. SOLUTION: In a mounting structure of a weather strip mounted from a roof side 1 to a front pillar 2A, a flange 4 is formed on the roof side 1 and a flange is not provided on the front pillar 2A. An extending portion 613 is formed on a side wall 612 at the car outside of a trim portion of the weather strip 6A of an approximate U shape cross section. The trim portion 61 is covered with the flange 4 at a portion along the roof side 1 and the extending portion 613 is in series adhered and fixed to outer plates 12, 22 of the roof side and the front pillar 2B through a double coated adhesive tape 9 at a whole length from the roof side 1 to the front pillar 2A.
