摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drastically reduce the quantity of carbonaceous material, to improve the unit requirement of refractory in a ladle, and to reduce the consumption of fuel gas contributing to the energy saving. SOLUTION: In a method for heating the ladle 1, after completing a continuous casting a slag removal, the ladle is laid on a molten steel receiving carriage 5, and successively, after carrying the ladle to a molten steel receiving zone D2 in a converter 3, the ladle is made to waiting state for a specified time in this molten steel receiving zone D2 on the molten steel receiving carriage 5, and after waiting and immediately, receiving the molten steel from the converter 3, the ladle is moved to a secondary refining zone E2 under state of laying the ladle on the molten steel receiving carriage 5, and after completing the secondary refining, the ladle is moved to the continuous casting zone A1 for the continuous casting. The ladle 1 is rapidly heated with a heat storage type burner 10 fitted to a first ladle cover 12 for covering the upper opening part of the ladle 1 within a specified time in the waiting state at the molten steel receiving zone D2 of the converter 3 and further, excepting when the slag is removed, the molten steel is received, the rapid heating is executed and the secondary refining is executed, the opening part of the ladle 1 is made to cover with a second ladle cover 1a.
