PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrooptical device and an electronic equipment in which two sheets of flexible boards drawn out from panels can be joined to another flexible board without performing joining works of terminals at back sides of the panels and also the folding work of the flexible boards after the joining works are completed is performed easily. SOLUTION: In a liquid crystal display device 1, after end parts of first and second flexible wiring boards 5, 6 drawn out from adjacent two sides 102, 102 of panels 10 are joined to end parts of an L-shaped third flexible wiring board 8 with the soldering or the like outside the panels 10, these boards are folded back to the back side as shown by arrows Cs. Since the first and second flexible wiring boards 5, 6 have slacked parts in a state in which the third flexible wiring board 8 is unfolded, when the boards are folded back to the back side, wasteful play is never generated in the flexible board 8.
