PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive assisting device capable of making steering operation and accelerator operation compatible. SOLUTION: An accelerator pedal operation amount input device 11 is connected to an electronic control unit 3 of a drive assisting device 1, and the operation amount of an accelerator pedal 12 is inputted as an accelerator signal. An electronically controlled accelerator actuator 15 actuating according to a control signal is connected to the electronic control unit 3, and allowed to actuate in a direction depressing the accelerator pedal 12. A first and a second accelerator operating buttons 31, 5 1 are connected to the electronic control unit 3. The first accelerator operating button 31 is disposed on the right side of a steering wheel, and the second accelerator operating button 51 is disposed on the left side of the steering wheel.
