VERTEX CONDENSER USING SPIRAL TYPE HEAT-EXCHANGER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vortex condenser to prevent short-pass of steam from the side inflow passage of a core part to a heat-transfer plate. SOLUTION: Steam from a vaporizing can from a corn part is caused to pass through a core 2 of a heat-exchanger and return at a topmost part and enter the heat transfer surface of the heat-exchanger for condensation. In a vortex condenser 1 using a so formed spiral type heat-exchanger, a wide part 8 is situated at a partition plate 3 or a side inflow passage on the vapor side is locked or narrowed by a short pass preventing bar 9.
