PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hanger for clothing which is provided with a plurality of supporting sections so that clothes can be hanged separately and which makes possible an easy hanging or removing operation of clothing such as slacks and a skirt and allows the existence of a vacant supporting section to be recognized at glance. SOLUTION: A column 1 extended in the up and down direction is provided at the lower end with a section 3 for preventing the dropping of installation bodies 21 and at the upper end with a hook 10. A plurality of hanger members 20, 20, 20 are installed on the column 1 so that they can be slided in the up and down direction and can be removed from the column 1. The installation bodies 21 are made of a semi-rigid synthetic resin, each provided with a pair of right and left engagement sections symmetrical about the column 1 and an engagement cancellation section. When the installation body 21 in the lowest stage is removed from the column 1, the installation bodies 21, 21 in the upper stages automatically slip downward, generating in an upper part of the column 1 a vacant space, where the removed installation body 21 can be installed again.
