PURPOSE: The apparatus and a computer system are provided for a user to perform various system environments easily by performing a multi booting function by simply operating a switch. CONSTITUTION: A multi booting device comprises a selection unit(10) and connection units(20A, 20B). A computer system comprises two hard disk drives(60, 70). The selection unit(10) of the multi booting device comprises a locking switch(12), selection switches(14A, 14B, 14C, 14D) and a displaying lamp(16). The locking switch(12) prevents a selection signal of the selection switch(14) from being transmitted to the hard disk drives(60, 70) when a user operates the selection switch(14) incorrectly in carelessness. The selection switch(14) renders a user to select one head disk drive out of the hard disk drives(60, 70). The displaying lamp(16) displays the selected hard disk. The selection switch(14) may perform a power switch function of the computer system simultaneously. The connection units(20A, 20B) comprises conducting wires(24A, 24B) and jumpers(31A, 31B) electrically connected to the conducting wires(24A, 24B). The hard disk drives(60, 70) comprises jumper connecting units(62, 72), IDE cable connecting units(64, 74) and power connecting units(66, 76). The connection units(20A, 20B) are engaged to master jumper connecting pins(63, 73) of the jumper connecting unit(62, 72), respectively.
