The thigh and lower leg part of the orthesis are joined by at least one two-part rail (1,2). The trajectories (8,9) of a thigh part and a lower leg part are joined by a bridge piece (3) with guides (11,12). A bearing pin (4) mounts the bridge piece on the thigh part. Guide pins (5,6) and the guides on the thigh part or lower leg part or bridge piece are joined to a thigh and lower leg part.
