PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a shrink fitting tool holder for a process that is not suitable for use of a carbide tool while maintaining easy detachment and attachment by shrink fitting. SOLUTION: This tool is attached to a tool holder of a machine tool for cutting and turning by shrink fitting through a collet. A shank part 10 is made of carbide material and a cutting part 11 is made of high speed tool steel. The tool is suitable for shrink fitting to the tool holder because the shank part 10 is made of carbide material and is suitable for small lot tapping or long and narrow drilling because the cutting part is made of high speed tool steel. Jointing and fixing of the shank part 10 and cutting part 11 is done by shrink fitting, press fitting, brazing, adhesive, friction welding or the like.
