PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a showy effect by putting back illumination by various color lights to a belt-like part. SOLUTION: Reels 8a, 8b and 8c are composed by arranging a plurality of symbols S on a translucent resin sheet and respectively installed behind symbol display windows 20a, 20b and 20c. Also, on the back side of the reels 8a, 8b and 8c, planar light sources 20 incorporating the LEDs of three primary colors are arranged corresponding to the stop display position of the symbol S. The light sources 20 are individually controlled and can emit one of the plurality of the kinds of the color light. The respective light sources 20 are controlled so as to emit white light while the reels 8a, 8b and 8c are rotating and the emitted light colors of the prescribed light source 20 are switched while the reels are rotating or when the reels stop corresponding to a game condition.
