PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a strut and a connection fitting, which is simple in structure, is easily mountable and enables the firm connection of a strut and a tube. SOLUTION: In this mounting structure of mounting a forward-facing tube 4 facing forward to the front surface of an erected strut 1 through a connection fitting 5, the connection fitting 5 is composed of an upper part connection fitting piece 5a and a lower part connection fitting piece 5b adjacent under the upper part connection fitting piece 5a. On at least one of the connection fittings, a hook portion 7 locked to a long hole 6 vertically provided on the front surface of the strut 1 in a line, and facing upward or downward and toward the outside of the connection fitting 5 is formed. In the case where the hook portion 7 is formed at either one of the upper and lower portion connection fittings 5a, 5b, the other connection fitting piece is made to have a shape which is engaged with an upper or lower edge portion in an outward direction of the connection fitting 5, of the long hole 6, and the tube 4 made to have an inner part shape suitable for externally fitting to the connection fitting 5 locked and engaged with the long hole 6. The tube 4 is fitted on the connection fitting 5 from a front part, thereby fixing the tube 4 so as not to vertically move.
