PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems such that not only the connector for IC cards tends to increase in size but also its operability becomes worse due to increase in transfer volume of the push rod because of the unchanged leverage ratio when an IC card K is ejected from the connector in a conventional connector of IC cards, where the push rod is engaged at an engaging point of an ejection lever. SOLUTION: The connector for IC cards of this invention is compact and has a good operability with an ejection lever 4 turning widely with the transfer volume of push rod 6 reduced in comparison with conventional method, because the leverage ratio of the ejection lever 4 is made changeably by changing position of pressure given to it by push rod 6.
