The motorcar windscreen (6) wiper has two arms (2,3) supporting a wiper (4,5), at least one of which is pivotably located in the area of a lower corner (7) of the windscreen. At least one of the wipers (5) is so arranged on the corresponding arm that it wipes an area (10) of the windscreen turned away from the locating position (8) of the corresponding arm. Both wiper arms are pivotally located in the area of the same lower corner of the windscreen. The one wiper wipes the area (9) of the windscreen facing the corner and the other wiper wipes the windscreen area turned away from the corner.
