PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a muscle training device which is contrived so as to easily train arms and legs by a training person himself (of cource by a training helper). SOLUTION: As an auxiliary tool for exercise of lifting one leg vertically in the state of standing with the other leg, a stool and a foot rest moving up and down on the stool are provided and a control means for moving the foot rest up and down electrically, in terms of atmospheric pressure or hydraulically is a control system for decelerating lowering operation compared with raising operation and is constituted to switch moving up and down by switching the switch of a manual controller.
