PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for the breeding of attaching aquatic organism, having high wave-resistance durable to the use in a rough outer sea, large attaching area for the aquatic organism per unit volume to get excellent breeding efficiency and enabling the breeding of organism without applying intensive stress to the organism, to provide a breeding method capable of breeding constantly in the optimum water quality environment and to provide a breeding method having improved workability in the feeding and the taking of the breeding organism. SOLUTION: This apparatus for the breeding of an aquatic organism 1 in water is provided with a cylinder 2 to breed the aquatic organism 1 in the cylinder and a lid 4 to separate the opening 3 of the cylinder 2 from the water. Water-passing holes 5 are opened on the lid 4.
