PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exterior approach designing method capable of speedily and easily selecting an exterior approach pattern corresponding to an arrangement space in a plot without any stain. SOLUTION: A plurality of exterior approach patterns are set by appropriately combining gates, approaches, and entrance porches each classified into a few types with one another, and a minimum basic dimension necessary for actual construction is determined for every exterior approach pattern, and an arrangement space in a plot is compared with the basic dimension of each exterior approach pattern to select an exterior approach pattern to fit within the arrangement space.
