METHOD FOR ESTIMATING HIGH SPEED UNIFORMITY OF TIRE AND METHOD FOR SORTING TIRE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sort a tire without measuring high speed RFV primary component additionally by estimating the high speed RFV primary component from other measurements. SOLUTION: Relation among the high speed RFV primary component, the low speed RFV primary component, and static unbalance of a tire is determined. The low speed RFV primary component and static unbalance are then measured for a tire having an unknown high speed RFV primary component. Based on the measurements and the relation, an estimated value of the high speed RFV primary component of the tire is calculated and then compared with the standard value thus sorting the tire.
