PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spreader for imparting static electricity which is able to surely avoid an electric shock accident by a static electricity imparting electrode, when a spraying of a liquid chemical is stopped. SOLUTION: In the static electricity imparting spreader which spreads the liquid chemical 1 by imparting an electrical charge from a static electricity imparting electrode 19 to the liquid chemical 1 jetted from a spray nozzle 5, the supply of electrical power to the static electricity imparting electrode 19 is stopped by operating a pressure switch 16 when the pressure of the liquid chemical 1 supplied to the spray nozzle 5 is lowered to a set point or less.
