PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning composition for keratinous materials, having an appearance aesthetically satisfied, and giving excellent cosmetic performance and quality to the keratinous materials, especially to the hair and the scalp. SOLUTION: This cleaning composition for keratinous materials comprises compounding a cosmetically acceptable medium with (a) (i) at least one kind of detersive surfactant, (ii) at least one kind of functionalized silicone, (iii) a monomer selected from a 1-6C alkyl acrylate and a 1-6C alkyl methacrylate, (b) a monomer selected among a heterocyclic vinyl compound containing at least one nitrogen or sulfur atom, an (meth)acrylamide and so on, and (c) at least one kind of acrylic terpolymer obtained from a monomer selected among a urethane which is formed by reacting a monoethylenically unsaturated isocyanate with a nonionic surfactant, a copolymerizable ethylenic surfactant monomer, a urea-type surfactant monomer, an allyl ether containing an alkyleneoxy group, and a urethane-type nonionic monomer.
