PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rope-like fabric-treating device which can treat a rope- like fabric as such without spreading the rope-like fabric before or after dyed and which can simplify the work and shorten the time of the work. SOLUTION: The upper end portion and the lower end portion of a transfer pipe 12 constituting the treating device are used as an entrance and an exit, respectively. The transfer pipe 12 is formed by connecting plural divided pipes 16 to each other. Treating liquid-jetting portions 24 and recovering portions 27 are disposed in the entrance end portions and the exit end portions of the divided pipes 16, respectively. The treating liquid-jetting portions 24 and the recovering portions 27 are connected to treating liquid tanks 19 arranged below the transfer pipe 12 through supply pipes 25 and recovering pipes 28, respectively. A fabric 13 is transferred with a treating liquid jetted from the treating liquid-jetting portions 24, and the treating liquid is then returned to the treating liquid tanks 19.
