SOLUTION: The electric drill is provided with a lock piece 7 which is fitted to a drill body part 2 and slidable toward a drill chuck 1 side, the drill chuck 2 is rotatable by disposing the lock piece 7 on the drill body part 2 side, the lock piece 7 is moved to the drill chuck side 1, the lock piece 7 is disposed on an outer circumference of the chuck body part 2, the outer side of the chuck body part 4 is fixed so as not to be rotated, and only the inner side of the chuck body part 4 is allowed to be rotated to open/close a claw of a bit-fixing part 5.
