PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate remaining buffles, which are produced with a conventional constitution wherein lubricating oil is supplied into a slide bearing device, which generates a dynamic pressure by using the lubricating oil, after the assembly of the bearing device is completed, and which causes deterioration in the dynamic pressure. SOLUTION: A magnetic fluid is used as the lubricating oil. The magnetic fluid is sealed in the bearing device by a method wherein the magnetic fluid of a specified quantity is held in a bearing unit by a magnetic attractive force of a permanent magnet when a spindle motor is assembled and, after a motor shaft is inserted, the magnetic fluid is supplied into narrow gaps of the bearing device by capilary action.
