PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately perform switching to a bypass refrigerant circuit in a refrigeration cycle and synchronous switching to a refrigerant circuit with a single refrigerant bypass switching valve and to rationally execute a synchronous switching operation with the single switching valve. SOLUTION: In the refrigerant bypass switching valve in a refrigeration cycle, a single refrigerant bypass switching valve V that is commonly used for a refrigerant channel 21' to refrigerant circuit formation elements 10 and 12 and a bypass refrigerant channel 21 for short-circuiting both the ends of the refrigerant circuit formation elements 10 and 12 is provided for switching connection to either a refrigerant circuit passing through the channel 21' of the refrigerant circuit formation elements 10 and 12 and a bypass refrigerant circuit passing through the refrigerant bypass channel 21, and the other is disconnected.
