<p>The present invention provides a method of treating conditions associated with pain and alleviating the symptoms associated therewith which comprises administering to a mammal, including man, (i) an adenosine A1 agonist or a physiologically acceptable salt or solvate thereof and (ii) gabapentin or pregabalin or a physiologically acceptable salt or solvate thereof.
