PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive heat exchanging element for gas-togas, capable of preventing the deterioration of various performances such as a heat exchanging rate, moisture transfer or the like, and the optimum heat exchanging segment for forming the heat exchanging element. SOLUTION: The heat exchanging element 5 for gas-to-gas is formed of a structure of laminating the same type heat exchanging segments and heat exchanging gas is supplied to one gas flow passage 4a and the other gas flow passage 4b, formed in a direction orthogonal to the gas flow passage 4a. In this case, the heat exchanging segment forms the gas flow passage 4a by bonding heat exchanging sheets 3a, 3b, on which embosses 25a, 25b are formed, to both of upper and lower surface sides of first flat hollow elliptic spacers 2a, made of a resin, with an equal space while second flat elliptic hollow spacers 2b, made of a resin, are bonded to the heat exchanging sheet 3b of upper surface side with an equal space.
