PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small, low heat loss heat exchanger having a high heat exchanging capacity. SOLUTION: The heat exchanger comprises radiation side heat exchanging bodies 6, 19 and an absorption side heat exchanging body 3 disposed hierarchically, and thermoelectric conversion element modules 2 interposed between the radiation side heat exchanging bodies 6, 19 and the absorption side heat exchanging body 3 wherein heat is exchanged between the radiation side heat exchanging bodies 6, 19 and the absorption side heat exchanging body 3. The heat exchanger further comprises securing means 10, 11, 20, 21 for pressing only the inside of the outer circumferential end part of the thermoelectric conversion element modules 2 from the outside of the radiation side heat exchanging bodies 6, 19 or the absorption side block 3.
