PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a backlight of a multi-function key at a simple structure and inexpensive cost. SOLUTION: The title structure comprises a multi-function key structured in such a manner that it is slantingly operated in a desired direction by pressing down a key top; and a light transmitting plate having an exposed hole on the surface thereof. The hole has substantially the same shape as the key top, and the key top is inserted into the hole. At a peripheral edge of the hole, there is formed a shaped part serving as a marker when the key top is operated. The light transmitting plate is masked with a background color at its back face. In addition, the title structure has light-emitting means for illuminating the marker from a back face.
