The lifting carriage consists of two support assemblies (1a, 1b), mounted on wheels, and which can be moved relative to each other, by means of the telescopic element (4a, 4b). At the outer end of each telescopic element is a transverse element (5a, 5b), which is fixed perpendicularly to the telescopic element. Each transverse element consists of a central linear section (8a, 8b), presenting a primary free end, and a second end, from which extends a raised end piece (11a, 11b) to carry the wheel. A roller (12a, 12b) may be mounted on the central linear section.
