DISPLAY PANEL AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome problems that miss-discharge is generated in adjacent spaces and lowering of brightness is generated due to high fineness in a plasma display having stripe structure of partition walls. SOLUTION: This plasma display panel comprises a first insulation substrate having at least a scan electrode, holding electrode and a light shield layer being covered with a dielectric layer and a protection film layer, and a second insulation substrate having a plurality of data electrodes covered with an insulation layer and partition walls disposed on the insulation layer, wherein the insulation substrates are opposed to each other through a discharge space. Barriers are formed between the partition walls at a position opposite to the light shield layer and have height lower than those of the partition walls on the second insulation substrate.
