PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost sunbeam-gathering apparatus whose sunbeam- gathering efficiency is high in all seasons. SOLUTION: The sunbeam-gathering apparatus has, within a sunbeam- gathering part 5, sunbeam-gathering lenses 51, cone-shaped rod lenses 4 which are positioned near the focuses of the lenses 51 and whose surfaces facing the sunbeam-gathering lenses 51 are concave, and optical fibers 2 whose one ends are connected to the conical rod lenses 4. The light paths from lenses 51 to optical fibers 2 are sealed within a sealed space. The apparatus has a control mechanism to control the distance between the lenses 51 and conical rod lenses 4. Since the lenses and the conical rod lenses are placed within a sealed space, plastic lenses and plastic conical lenses can be used without fear of dust deposition. Even when the focal positions of the lenses change, the control mechanism works to keep the high sunbeam gathering efficiency.
