<p>The invention concerns a retractable roof for a motor vehicle, comprising a front element forming the body roof and a rear element forming the rear window. The rear deck (4) comprises a telescopic arm (13) carrying grip means, said arm (13) being mobile between a first position wherein it is retracted inside the deck (4), and a second position wherein, the deck cover (15) being open, said arm (13) is extended above the vehicle and the grip means of said arm (13) are in contact with the front element and capable of lifting said front element (1) after the latter has been unlocked relative to the crosspiece (9) of the windscreen and relative to the rear element (2), and a third position wherein said arm (13) places the front element (1) on the rear element (2), means being provided for mutually locking in said position, the two elements and a fourth position wherein, after the rear element (2) has been unlocked relative to the body (12), said arm (13) places the two mutually locked roof elements (1, 2) inside the deck (4).</p> |
